This corner sits just east of 29th Street, on the North Philadelphia side of the line. Strawberry Mansion is the neighborhood along the south side of the avenue. East Fairmount Park and the historic house are a short ride west.
The shop’s own site, and the first neighborhood notes, date to 2011. A neighbor wrote that Lehigh Avenue finally had a drugstore on the block. The work since then is the same: fill it, deliver most of North Philadelphia, bill the cards this counter already knows, and talk at the window.
